The Best of Honolulu Festival
Here's one that's sure to be a great time for the whole family. The first ever Best of Honolulu Festival, taking place July 16th, is being put on by the Best of Honolulu Magazine, and we're sure it's going to be a day filled with great activities, food, art, and smiles all around.
Get Moving with Ronald McDonald
Everyone's favorite clown is coming to the Aina Haina Public Library on June 25th to lead a 40-minute show featuring fun, games, and ways to help your kids lead a more active lifestyle - and it's completely free! This is perfect for children from preschool to third grade, and we're sure it'll be a fun-filled show.
After School Art: Secret Sound Art
This is an art workshop taking place at the Art Explorium on June 30th that'll center around expressionism and abstract art. Kids will learn about sound art, the artist Kandinsky, and will get to try creating their own works of art based on a "secret sound" that they choose!
Hawaiian Reef Walking Tour
Want an activity that combines the fun of a beach day with a science lesson and nature walk? The Living Art Marine Center is holding a guided walking tour of Hawaii's magnificent reefs on July 2nd and 3rd at 9am. You and your children will wade through knee-deep water and see the diversity and vibrancy of Hawaii's sea life, all while hearing the explanations of experienced naturalists and marine biologists - the perfect way to spend a Saturday or Sunday!
